Tisha B’Av

  • Temple Adas Israel 30 Atlantic Avenue Sag Harbor NY 11963 (map)

Tisha B’Av commemorates the destruction of both Temples, and other times of exile and destruction throughout Jewish history. Gesher | The Bridge Shul and our friends from Temple Adas Israel have traditionally observed this day together, to model the way in which focusing on what we share, rather than on our differences, is an essential part of rebuilding when things fall apart.

Join us for services as follows:

Monday August 12, 8:30 pm — Maariv, including the reading of Eikha (Lamentations) and chanting of kinot (poems of lament).

Tuesday, August 13, 7:15 pm — Minchah/maariv (afternoon and evening services) followed by break-fast.

Both services will be held in person at Temple Adas Israel, Sag Harbor and on Zoom.

Register here for Zoom link.
