Jewish Ideas, Democracy, and the American Future -- 3 synagogues, 4 part series

Join us for an exciting 4-part monthly Zoom series designed to help us all better fulfill our civic obligations as American Jews. This non-partisan program is designed to maximize opportunities for discussion, questioning, deepening understanding, and getting to know fellow Jews from other parts of the country.

Our first session will feature Aaron Dorfman, the Executive Director of the Jewish Partnership for Democracy: A More Perfect Union, who will lay some groundwork for us regarding the relationship between Judaism and democracy, with time for small group discussion.

In subsequent sessions, we’ll watch some engaging videos in advance, and then gather in small breakout groups to talk about the issues they raise. We’ll wrap up with a panel discussion led by our rabbis, with an opportunity to share some final thoughts and most importantly, brainstorm action items.

Dates: August 26, September 11, October 27 & November 3
Time: 7pm
